Serafina Osteria & Enoteca

Sneak Peek:
Serafina's new cicchetti bar

Owner Susan Kaufman has long resisted the public cry to expand. She knows that Serafina has a certain mystique that cannot simply be replicated. To those who would like more space at the bar, or more dining options, or a few more spots in the European courtyard, Susan is pleased to have found an elegant solution: she bought the beautiful building across the courtyard, with plans by year end to offer a Venetian-style cicchetti bar.

Cicchetti? Check out Wikipedia's definition, or Rick Steves' article about keeping it real in Venice. Locally, Nancy Leson at her Seattle Times blog offers a little more insight into Susan's plans.

Please stay tuned for exciting details as they evolve.
