The freshly-planted garden
Like many of you, we’re passionate about sourcing our food as locally as possible. As we enter the warmer months of the year, many of the herbs you see in your food (and even a few drinks) will be coming from our very own garden. Located just a block away, in the front yard of our owner Susan’s house, the Serafina Garden is our source for much of our sage, rosemary, lavender, thyme, bay leaf, and a few other herbs and spices. You might even see some truly local beets, squash, kale, peas, and Jerusalem artichokes later in the summer. It’s quite a luxury for the kitchen to have all that fresh, beautiful produce just a few steps away, and hopefully a treat for you too!
